Q – What are NAL Research and Blue Sky Network announcing? 

• NAL Research and Blue Sky Network are merging to bring together our individual strengths and decades of experience as innovators in the Iridium ecosystem designing new products and services. 

Q – Why are you merging?

• This merger allows us to further establish our position as drivers of innovation, expand our global reach, and enhance our overall market opportunity.
• Together we are taking a more agile approach toward the development and delivery of new technologies, combining internal resources and strengths to enhance our product portfolio. 
• Our commercial and government customers will now have access to a complete package of best-in-class global communications and assured position, navigation, and timing (APNT) solutions through a single company. 

Q – How will this benefit you and your customers?

• Together, we will inject the power of NAL’s military-grade products into the commercial sector, and leverage the flexibility and innovation of Blue Sky Network’s commercial products and cloud-based solutions, to deliver transformative solutions to our government customers.  
• Our customers will benefit from an enhanced satellite and cellular communications product and service portfolio; greater operations and customer support; more agile development and delivery of new technologies; and an expanded international footprint.

Q – Does this mean NAL Research and Blue Sky Network are becoming one company?

• Yes, NAL Research and Blue Sky Network are becoming one company under NAL Research. 
• NAL Research will continue to deliver both NAL and Blue Sky Network products as you know them today, enabling our customers to benefit from a wider portfolio of capabilities, including SATCOM and APNT solutions and services.
• While the companies will be combined under NAL, we will continue to maintain both brands and full line of products.

Q – Where physically will your operations be combined? 

• Beginning May 1, 2024, both company’s operations will streamline and centralize at NAL Research’s headquarters in Manassas, VA.  
• All production, manufacturing, administrative, and accounting will now be located at: 11100 Endeavor Ct., Suite 300, Manassas, VA  20109

Q – What happens to Blue Sky Network’s other office locations and Brazil?

• Headquarters including production, manufacturing, administration, and accounting for both NAL and Blue Sky Network are now centralized to NAL’s current headquarters in Manassas, Va. 
• Blue Sky Network’s Arizona shipping facility has been combined with NAL’s facility and relocated to Manassas, VA, enabling us to further streamline resources.
• NAL Research will maintain the Blue Sky Network Brazilian office to support our customers’ continued success in Brazil and adjacent markets.
